Hello! We just bought an A3 e-tron from a state without a requirement for a front license plate. We live in Maryland, which requires a front plate. I learned from another thread that I can pop off the "cover" of the e-tron plastic thing on the front grille. Has anyone done so and then installed a regular US plate in front? Not a Euro-style plate. If so, do you recommend the Audi plate mount or another company's accessory? Any other words of wisdom would be appreciated.
It's a very fun car. I expect I'll get plenty of attention to my speed from the police. No need to attract extra attention with a missing front plate. :!:
