Lets talk about how far you have gone on a tank of gas. I'm in Canada, so my tank holds 40 litres (10.56 US gallons). In day to day driving, I don't use the gas at all, only when I get on the highway. My record so far is 1898 km in about 2 months on 1/2 a tank. This was 1.8 litres per 100 km (130.6 mpg), according to the long term memory stats on the dashboard, which I zero in whenever I fill the tank. At that point, I had to fill up, because I was leaving on a road trip. In the last month and a half, it's been all highway driving, a lot of it in the mountains, and the long term memory is at 3.9 litres per 100 km (60.3 mpg). My wife says I have a lead foot, and I love to drive. I'm pretty happy with those numbers! How does that stack up with what other people are managing?
