I tripped across a method that may enable lane assist using ross-tech software. My French is non-existent, but google translate seems to suggest that it may work. Note that the etron is not an 8V car, but the Premium Plus package includes "Side Assist" that I have and that appears to be the prerequisite for lane assist.

Any thoughts on or experience with using the http://www.ross-tech.net VAG software on the eTRON?

I'd like to have this feature but couldn't justify the bump to the Prestige package to get it.

I just picked up an OBDeleven Pro (cheaper alternative to the Ross Tech). Haven't started playing with it yet but that's one thing I'll look for.

How does it work if you don't have side mirrors with the lane assist LEDs?

This is to enable lane-assist, if you have traffic sign recognition already.
