Does Hybrid mode work more efficiently when the EV battery charge gauge shows full than when it shows empty? Since Hybrid mode does indeed deplete the EV battery charge (as it should, otherwise why have battery-hold mode), I wonder if it is opting to use a higher ratio of battery to engine power. Then after the EV battery charge is empty Hybrid mode goes into a more even ratio.
Or, should I just completely ignore the EV battery charge indicator when in Hybrid Mode?!
