Our 2017 e-tron came with a mounting bracket for the charging control unit. Before we purchased our e-tron, I had read a lot of posts from people who mounted the unit in various ways. No more worries in this respect. The bracket is designed to easily release the charging control unit if one wants to take it on a trip. I will add a picture tomorrow.

So since you have the Virtual Cockpit I'm assuming you ordered a Technik model? I've heard that only the upper trim lines come with the charger bracket. It definitely makes the $700 wall mount cabinet a waste of cash....
