My Octopus Go tariff has been a nightmare for ages. I couldn't get my car to connect, and they blamed it on server issues with Audi. I switched to Octopus Go for cheaper rates, even though it's only for a short time. I got it to connect and I thought it's all good. Not until it doesn't charge again.

I have no idea what that means or how to change it. I've looked everywhere in my car and app, but there's no setting for it. I always check that there are no timers set before plugging in.

Yesterday, I plugged in, but they didn't give me a charging schedule and charged me peak rates. I couldn't even connect to my car through the app, maybe that's why.

Mine is a plug-in hybrid, and I charge it with a regular plug. Home chargers are too expensive. Octopus lets me choose a 3-pin plug option, which I did, and the test charge worked fine. I have a special outdoor socket for charging.

I'm really frustrated. I'm hoping someone here can help, because Octopus isn't.

I have had a similar frustration with the Octopus Go tariff and charging schedule. You are not alone in this. Like you, mine worked fine for a while, but now it just starts charging as soon as I plug in, despite having a set schedule. After speaking with Audi digital services, they pointed to my car's weak LTE signal at home (only 1 bar), which could be interfering with the connection and scheduling. When I drive around, the signal improves, but it drops back down at home, and they couldn't offer a solution to boost it. So, again, you are not alone in this.
