Just received an email from Audi this afternoon advising of the demise of the Audi A3 e-tron portal and the Audi A3 e-tron connect app.

Your Audi A3 Sportback e-tron is moving soon.

Dear Ms/Mr XXXXXX,

Do you own an Audi A3 Sportback e-tron and manage your Audi connect e-tron services online or via the app?

Soon you will be able to do this in the myAudi Portal and via the Audi MMI connect app. Once your Audi A3 Sportback e-tron has moved to the myAudi Portal, you will have access (after registration, if relevant) to a wide range of additional attractive services and Audi connect services, such as travel and car park information*, in addition to all the usual options.

And the best thing: your Audi connect e-tron services will be extended by 10 years – at no further cost.

We hope you enjoy using the myAudi Portal and the Audi MMI connect app. More information on how to register for myAudi and on how to log in after the move will be sent in a separate email on the day of the move.

Note: During the move, access to the Audi connect e-tron services for your vehicle will be limited during the period from 23-25 September 2016. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Please note that all trip data will be deleted at the time of conversion. The Audi A3 e-tron portal and the Audi A3 e-tron connect app will be deactivated once the move is complete.

Your Audi A3 e-tron team

Take full advantage of the Audi MMI connect app following the move

The Audi MMI connect app will soon replace the Audi A3 e-tron connect app. In the Audi MMI connect app, just as in the previous app, you will be able to control charging and air conditioning, but you will also benefit from additional Audi connect services*. For example, you will be able to call up current traffic information* or send navigation destinations directly from your smartphone to your car*.

Seems to be at least Europe wide. The French are migrating to the new portal and app this weekend along with the UK. See http://forums.audipassion.com/topic/171 ... on/page-10 (remembering that Google translate is your friend).

Only the new app "Audi MMI connect" seems to be available from the US Apple app store today. That said, the old app ("Audi A3 e-tron connect") was last updated on 20 Sept to v1.1.20. There is a note for the old app, "The update is required for continuous service use as the old app version will cease to work after a reasonable update period."
