Hi all,
I have a '17 (US model) A3 e-tron Premium plus with 35k on the clock.
I find that when starting the vehicle after it has been off for at least 30 minutes, the brakes are super hard to push, only becoming remotely pressable after pushing the start/stop button at least once to get the vehicle into ACC mode. I presume the brake booster is electrical so perhaps even in ACC mode the brake booster is on.
However, I am worried that there may be water in my brake lines, as this is the only reason I can think of for the brakes being so hard. Unless this was intended/a safety feature at startup? Can you guys report what you have? Or do I need a brake flush (this car presumably never had one...)?
