A3 e-Tron Availability in Europe
As of November 2014, no vehicles had been sold or delivered yet, but some forum users have been given delivery dates in February 2015.
As of August 1st, the Audi A3 e-Tron is now on sale throughout Europe. 410 dealers across the region are selling the plug-in hybrid Audi Sportback.
On June 23, Audi announced pricing for the A3 e-Tron in Germany, and slipped in mention that deliveries would start in Winter 2014 in Germany and Central Europe. This represents a significant delay from the original date of Spring 2014.
In a February 20th article, Autocar.Co.Uk said the A3 e-Tron will “go on sale in the UK later this year.”
At the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2013, Audi announced the A3 E-tron Sportback would be in dealerships in Europe in Spring 2014.
As of January 31, on the Audi UK website, it says “due to hit the road in 2014.” There are reports from users on various forums that they have test drives scheduled for the end of June 2014.
North America Availability
Orders are open in the USA, and the A3 e-Tron will be available at all Audi dealerships nationwide.
In a November 12 article on inautonews.com, the first deliveries of the Audi A3 Sportback e-Tron will begin in January.
Audi originally said the Sportback E-tron would go on sale in the U.S. in 2015. Since the most recent announcement of a 6-9 month delay in Europe, sales in the U.S. could be pushed back as far as late 2015.
According to Driving.ca, the A3 e-Tron will hit Canadian shores in the first quarter of 2015.
Australian Availability
“It’ll definitely be coming in the first quarter of next year,” said an Audi rep in June 2014. The A3 e-tron is scheduled to arrive in early 2015 with a highly competitive price tag.
Audi A3 e-Tron in Korea
In October 2014, Audi announced the A3 e-Tron will start selling in mid-2015.
Put down a deposit to build and purchase a car on 25th of Sept. and was given a build date of the 49th week of this year that, by the way, is this week.
